Alessio Mida graduated in Roma Tre University in Arts, Music and Spectacle with a thesis about Quinqui Cinema and Spanish Audience in the Transition Period. He had his Master in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies in Paris 3, Rome Tre, and Goethe Universitat in Frankfurt. He continued his education with a 2 years degree of Videoreportage (meanwhile he started collaborating with the most reliable news websites in Italy), and studying Direction of Photography at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, based in Rome. Shortly after, he started his carreer of photographer and filmmaker among Film Festivals and in the independent scene of music videos and short movies. In 2017 he made his first documentary short movie “Ruins”, about Amatrice earthquake. He wrote for arts on line magazines and taught cinema and audiovisual skills for children and young pupils. Focused on documentary, music, reportage, fiction, he is now part of the project at Oxford Brookes University in team with Memoro, being in charge of the shooting part.
