Peripheral organ of the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities, the State Archive of Bari is the cultural place dedicated to the conservation, protection, enhancement and use of the documentary heritage produced over the centuries by legal entities, public and private, which reflect the social and institutional fabric of the province of Bari territory: magistracies, organs and peripheral offices of the pre-unification and post-unification State, public bodies, private institutions, families and people.
