ECA organized a two-day workshop on the methodological and theoretical issues concerning comparative oral histories with invited experts Prof. Loredana Polezzi (Cardiff University) and Prof. Anna Vermeulen (Ghent University). The first day was a practical workshop on subtitling lead by Deborah Sciacero (University of Turin) and Lorenzo Fenoglio (Memoro, the bank of memories). The second day was a theoretical workshop concerning the possibilities and pitfalls of comparing translated oral histories. The symposium was attended by all ECA researchers.
