The research, promoted by the Department of Mediterranean, Culture and Tourism of Regione Puglia in partnership with the FFMAAM Francesco Moschini Modern Architecture and Art Found and the Gianfranco Dioguardi Foundation, describes the movie house space in urban, architectural and social terms; at the same time it investigates the role of cinema exhibitors in history, culture and economy. The results of this three-years study are collected in the book, published by Gangemi, “Territori del Cinema: Stanze, Luoghi, Paesaggi”, curated by Valentina Ieva and Francesco Maggiore with the scientific and cultural coordination by Francesco Moschini.
